I randomly discovered Bikram Yoga in Paris in 2012. I felt like I’d stumbled into an absurd cult, but despite all the physical and mental challenges, I knew I’d be doing it forever. I went to teacher training in 2014 and I’ve been teaching ever since. Everything I do is somehow informed and influenced by the values of yoga. At the moment I’m into trail running in the bush.
My favourite posture is the Camel, which uses gravity to achieve a deep backbend. It’s often a mental challenge to hold it, but those few seconds of extreme discomfort bring benefits you can’t ignore.
